Terms & Conditions

The terms covering the free homepage preview, the $24.99 a month plan and the optional Professional Business Email add-on.

Last updated September 16, 2026

These terms apply to services supplied by 2Pixel Media Ltd, operating as Free Web Launch.

  • Company number: 16561208
  • Registered in England and Wales
  • Registered office: Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU

By purchasing or using our paid services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

Free Web Launch provides website design, build, hosting, maintenance and related digital services for businesses.

Our core service allows you to see a homepage preview before deciding whether to activate a paid monthly plan.

2. Free homepage preview

The free stage includes a homepage preview only.

The purpose of the preview is to allow you to see the proposed design direction before committing to the paid service.

The free preview does not include:

  • completion of the full website
  • all remaining pages
  • detailed revision work
  • launch
  • ongoing hosting
  • ongoing support
  • integrations or substantial additional functionality

Those stages begin after you choose to activate the paid service.

3. No obligation to continue

You are not required to proceed after seeing the homepage preview.

If you decide not to continue, you will not be charged for the preview.

Submitting a preview request does not itself create a paid subscription.

We do not ask for card details at the free preview stage.

4. Monthly plan

Our standard website plan is currently:

$24.99 per month, in US dollars

unless we agree a different price with you in writing.

Billing begins only when you choose to activate the plan.

There is currently no setup fee for the standard service.

5. Subscription renewal

The monthly plan is a recurring subscription. It continues month to month and renews automatically until you cancel it.

You will be charged the monthly amount on each renewal date using the payment method you provided at activation.

We will not change the recurring price of your website plan subscription unless you agree to the change first.

If we want to change it, we will show you the change in your customer portal before anything happens: the price you pay now, the new price, the difference between them, and the date the new price would first be charged. You choose whether to accept it.

If you accept, the new price takes effect from your next renewal. Nothing is charged on the day you accept, and no part-month adjustment is added to your next invoice.

If you do not accept, or you do nothing, the change is not applied and your subscription continues at your existing price. You can still cancel at any time.

You can cancel at any time. See section 15.

6. What the monthly plan includes

The monthly service may include:

  • completion of the agreed website
  • website hosting
  • SSL
  • agreed domain management
  • customer portal access
  • ordinary website content updates
  • support
  • basic local search / website setup where included in the agreed service
  • maintenance required to keep the website operating

The exact content and structure of your website will depend on what has been agreed with you.

7. Website changes and updates

Normal website updates are included in the monthly service.

Examples include:

  • changing text
  • updating prices
  • swapping images
  • updating services
  • changing contact details
  • changing business hours

Larger pieces of work are not necessarily included in the monthly fee.

Examples may include:

  • a substantial redesign
  • a new booking system
  • major new functionality
  • extensive additional pages
  • complex integrations

Where additional work falls outside the normal service, we will tell you before carrying it out and provide a separate quote where appropriate.

8. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that material you provide to us is lawful and that you have permission to use it.

This includes:

  • images
  • logos
  • text
  • trademarks
  • customer testimonials
  • business information
  • other intellectual property

You must provide accurate information and notify us if important details change.

9. Content and approvals

We may use information you provide, including material from your existing website or business social media, to prepare your website where you have authorized us to do so.

You are responsible for reviewing your website and telling us about factual inaccuracies before launch.

10. Domain names

Where a domain name is registered for you, our intention is for it to be registered for your business and not held as leverage over you.

Where possible, domains are registered in the customer’s name or otherwise managed so they can be transferred if required.

Domain availability cannot be guaranteed.

Third-party domain-registration rules and fees may apply.

11. Ownership

You retain ownership of content, logos, photographs and other materials that you provide to us.

Third-party software, libraries, services, fonts and licensed materials remain subject to their own license terms.

Any ownership or transfer of custom code or design assets beyond the live website service will depend on what has been specifically agreed.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of third-party intellectual property.

12. Hosting

Websites supplied under the monthly plan are hosted using infrastructure selected by us.

We aim to provide reliable hosting, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Temporary outages may occur due to:

  • maintenance
  • provider outages
  • network failures
  • security issues
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control

13. Third-party services

Your website may rely on third-party services such as:

  • hosting providers
  • domain registrars
  • payment providers
  • email services
  • maps
  • booking systems
  • analytics tools
  • social media platforms

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes or failures caused solely by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

14. Payments

Subscription payments are due according to the billing schedule shown when you activate the service.

Payments may be handled through Stripe or another authorized payment provider.

If payment fails or becomes overdue, we may contact you and may suspend services where necessary.

15. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

There is no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation fee.

You can cancel yourself in the customer portal, under Billing → Cancel plan. You do not need to contact us first.

Canceling stops your subscription from renewing. It does not end the service straight away: your plan normally stays active, and your website stays online, until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. It does not renew after that. Canceling does not change sections 17 and 24, which cover suspension and ending our agreement.

The portal confirms on screen once your cancellation is scheduled, and we also email you written confirmation.

If you would rather not do it yourself, you can still cancel by email. Write to us at hello@freewebsitelaunch.co.uk and we will process it and confirm it in writing.

Canceling stops future renewals only. Any sums already due remain payable, including an invoice we have already issued and a payment already being retried for an amount already due.

16. What happens after cancellation

If you cancel, ongoing hosting, maintenance, support and updates supplied under the monthly plan will normally end at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, unless the service ends earlier under sections 17 or 24.

We will reasonably assist with transferring a domain you own or control where applicable.

Any separate transfer of website files, code, third-party licenses or services will depend on the circumstances and what has been agreed.

We do not guarantee that a website will continue functioning unchanged after it is removed from the infrastructure and services on which it was built.

17. Suspension

We may suspend or refuse service where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • payment remains overdue
  • the website is being used unlawfully
  • material infringes third-party rights
  • the service is being abused
  • continued service creates a security or legal risk

Where reasonable, we will try to contact you before suspension.

18. Prohibited content

We may refuse to host or publish material that is:

  • unlawful
  • fraudulent
  • malicious
  • defamatory
  • infringing
  • designed to distribute malware
  • otherwise likely to expose us or our providers to legal or security risk

19. Portfolio use

We may wish to show websites we have built in our portfolio or marketing.

We will only use customer work in this way where we have an appropriate right or permission to do so.

We will not knowingly present speculative or illustrative work as a real customer project.

20. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:

  • indirect or consequential losses
  • loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity arising indirectly from the service
  • failures caused by third parties outside our reasonable control
  • losses caused by inaccurate or unlawful material supplied by the customer
  • search-engine rankings or specific levels of website traffic, inquiries or sales

We do not guarantee that a website will generate any particular commercial result.

21. Our total liability

Where permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service will be limited to the amount paid by you to us for the service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

This limit does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

22. Changes to the service or pricing

We may update our service or pricing in future.

Any changes affecting an existing customer will be communicated before they take effect.

23. Business customers

Our service is intended for businesses.

Nothing in these terms removes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under the law that applies to you.

24. Ending our agreement

Either party may end the service in accordance with these terms.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination — such as outstanding payments, intellectual property, liability and confidentiality — may continue to apply.

25. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. This does not remove any mandatory rights or protections available to you under the law of the place where you live or do business.

26. Professional Business Email

Professional Business Email is an optional add-on. You do not need it to use our website service.

It is currently $6.99 per month, in US dollars. It is a recurring subscription, separate from your website plan and with its own billing date. It continues month to month and renews automatically until it is canceled or ends as described below. The first monthly payment is taken when you order it, and you will be charged the monthly amount on each renewal date using the payment method you provided.

If we change the monthly price of Professional Business Email, we'll give you reasonable notice before the new price takes effect. You can cancel the service before the new price applies.

Each subscription provides one mailbox on your own domain. The features and storage included are those shown to you when you order. Aliases may be available on request, up to the number shown when you order.

Setting up your mailbox is managed by us, so it is not ready right away after payment. We set it up, including the email settings your domain needs, and then send you the details you need to start using it, such as your sign-in details and mail server settings. We send those details to you directly. They are not stored in or shown by the customer portal, so please keep them safe.

We provide Business Email using third-party email infrastructure selected by us. The account with that provider is held and managed by us. You are not given access to it or control of it.

We aim to keep your mailbox reliably available, but email depends on that third-party infrastructure and on the wider email system. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, or that every message will be delivered. Sections 12 and 13 apply to Business Email as they apply to hosting.

You must not use Business Email:

  • to send spam or unsolicited bulk email
  • for phishing, impersonation or fraud
  • to send, store or distribute malware
  • for anything unlawful, abusive or harassing
  • in any way likely to expose us or our providers to legal or security risk

We may suspend a mailbox where we reasonably believe it is being used in any of these ways, or where section 14 or 17 applies.

You can cancel Business Email at any time, separately from your website plan, in the customer portal under Services. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Canceling stops it from renewing: your mailbox stays available until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that. Canceling Business Email does not affect your website plan. The portal confirms on screen once your cancellation is scheduled, and we also email you written confirmation.

If your website service ends, your Professional Business Email service may continue until the end of its own current paid billing period and may remain chargeable until that date.

When your Business Email service ends, the mailbox stops working, and the mailbox and the email in it may be permanently deleted. We cannot promise to recover them afterward. Before the end date, export or save any email, contacts and other information you want to keep.

Ending Business Email does not end your website plan and does not change who owns your domain name.
